It’s no surprise that The Air Jordan 2 has been one of the more under-the-radar models of the Jumpman empire. Loved by our culture, with Italian-made attention to detail, the second signature shoe for Michael Jordan was always one for connoisseurs. Designed by Peter Moore and Bruce Kilgore, the AJ2 continues to delight with a “Lucky Green” rendition that loosely pays homage to one of the biggest “What ifs” in basketball culture, namely, a rivalry between MJ and the Boston Celtics. While everything was perfectly laid out, the Celtics underperformed in Jordan’s heydays and couldn’t catch up with Michael’s greatness during his run in the ‘90s. The Air Jordan 2 is now introduced in a matching colorway, with a white leather base and hits of “Lucky Green.”
