Nike Air Max 1 "Crepe Hemp"
With 35-years in the books, Nike Sportswear gives one of its most coveted silhouettes the standing ovations it deserves. After several collaborations and forgotten gems making their return, the Swoosh now brings back one of its most beloved (and hard-to-get) colorways, or should we say material-forward designs? Either or, the Nike Air Max 1 “Crepe Hemp” is, for many collectors, the gold standard of AM1 inline icons. Released back in 2004, the low-top Nike shoe fuses a matte colorway with burlap details bound to make its return at SNS.
To accompany the release, SNS worked on a unique woven blanket in Tokyo to match the sneaker’s DNA. Check out the images below and explore the Nike Air Max “Crepe Hemp” here.
