Alexis Sablone has achieved many milestones in her life already, such as holding seven X-Games titles to gaining a spot on the first USA Skateboarding National Team while also being an avid architect, sculptor, and more. Now she is tackling the fashion industry with her first signature sneaker release, teaming up with Converse to bring us the AS-1 Pro. The AS-1 Pro takes heavy inspiration from 80s Converse basketball and court models, combining a retro aesthetic with modern-day technologies such as a CX Foam sock liner which enhances impact protection and a herringbone outsole for maximum traction, making this model the perfect one to take to the skate park to practise those tricks. Alexis herself played a huge role in designing this model, stating that her background as a skateboarder ensured that she knew exactly what would and wouldn’t work on this style. It’s safe to say she absolutely knocked it out of the park with the AS-1 Pro.
