SNS: We’ve just seen you at the PUMA’s Spring/Summer 2020 women’s collection in New York, how has the first year been with Puma?

DANILEIGH: The first year with Puma has been an amazing ride. I love how Puma is focusing on women in such a positive and strong light.

You’re in quite the selected group there under the umbrellas of Puma, Selena Gomez, Meek Mill, G-Eazy, Big Sean, YBN Cordae, just to name a few. How does it feel when you see yourself in such an illustrious circle of people?

Being mentioned with people I grew up listening to as well as people I’m growing up with in the music industry is such a blessing. I respect all of these artist so much so to be mentioned with them is a huge compliment.

You seem to like cozy wear, what are you looking for when it comes to sneakers?

I love a comfortable and stylish sneaker. I like my shoes to have cool stories behind them as well as having a cool look.

You’re from Miami, how important is style in the 305?

Style in the 305 is so important. We love to show off and be as flashy as Miami itself is. Miami brings the style out go locals as well as visitors.

We have come across that the late Prince mentored you, can you give us a bit of an insight on what exactly that means?

I feel like when you’ve been blessed to be mentored by Prince it’s something you should never take for granted. I cherish it even more in his absence seeing how he impacted the world long before I was even born. Prince is a once in a lifetime entity I was so blessed to know and learn from him.
